Mon travail actuel consiste dans la livraison de liqueurs et d’eau de source à domicile et auprès de compagnies et ma grande passion est la musique, plus précisément la guitare. D’ailleurs, je suis guitariste dans un groupe et nous nous produisons en spectacle régulièrement, ceci est très important dans ma vie actuelle. J’ai 52 ans et je suis en assez bonne santé, père d’une belle grande fille de 25 ans et grand-père d’un petit ange de 7 ans. Maintenant je vais parcourir les points qui vous importent le plus par rapport à ma santé et c’est d’ailleurs sûrement pour cette raison que vous êtes sur ce site. Vers la fin de l’an 2000, mon médecin de famille, lors d’un examen de routine, détecte une masse au bas de mon abdomen du côté droit (il tenta de me la faire toucher avec mon doigt mais je n’y arrivais pas). Il m’a donc fait passer une « batterie de tests » pour en conclure que c’était un can… du côlon. Prenez note que jamais je n’avais eu aucun symptôme que ce soit. J’étais en « top shape » comme on dit. Septembre 2001, je subis
une opération qui consista à m’enlever la moitié du côlon et un bout d’intestin et en même temps on procèda à une biopsie du foie, il semblait y avoir des ganglions qui entouraient le foie. Après l’analyse des ganglions (8 métastases), on m’annonce qu’elles sont malignes. Donc, on décide de me faire commencer des traitements de chimiothérapie en novembre 2001. Ces traitements ont duré 6 mois et à chaque mois je voyais un oncologue différent. Pendant ma chimiothérapie, j’ai dû engager un employé pour continuer mon service de livraison d’eau et de liqueurs. Pour les fins de mon travail, je conduisais le camion seulement. Ce fut une période très difficile à cause des traitements de chimio, j’ai eu des ulcères dans la bouche, de la fatigue et tous les problèmes reliés à ces traitements. Le plus gros problème était que je suis un travailleur autonome et je n’avais pas le choix de continuer à travailler pour pouvoir payer les factures courantes. Pour revenir à mes 6 mois de chimio, je vous disais que je voyais un oncologue différent à tous les mois; quelle ne fut pas ma surprise quand le 6e oncologue me dit : « pourquoi n’allez-vous pas voir un spécialiste pour le foie? » et ajouta que si je l’avais eu comme 1er oncologue, il ne m’aurait pas conseiller des traitements de chimiothérapie. Il m’aurait fait passer des radiographies sur une base régulière pour vérifier la stabilité des métastases. J’étais dans tous mes états; 6 mois de souffrance pour rien…. Ha la médecine. Donc, vers le milieu de l’an 2002, je commence les consultations avec un spécialiste pour le foie qui me fait passer des radiographies à tous les 3 mois qui, éventuellement, s’espacèrent aux 6 mois. Les métastases demeurent stables, d’ailleurs actuellement je passe toujours des radiographies en médecine nucléaire à tous les 6 mois. Début 2003, je commence graduellement à ressentir une légère fatigue qui s’accentue jusqu’en janvier 2006 amenant comme problème que j’étais obligé de m’étendre pour faire une sieste dans mon salon de 30 à 45 minutes à tous les jours, car ma « batterie était à terre » comme on dit, même le samedi et le dimanche. Même si je ne faisais presque rien, cette fatigue m’envahissait et ça avait un impact majeur sur mon humeur. Je n’avais plus d’ambition, je jouais beaucoup moins de guitare (ce qui n’est vraiment pas normal) et mon moral en prenait un dur coup. J’essayais de mieux m’alimenter, de respecter les combinaisons alimentaires et de prendre des produits naturels, etc. etc. etc., rien à faire. En 2004, en parlant de mes problèmes à un de mes clients, il me parla de Immunocal. Je fit donc des recherches sur le net et ça semblait très intéressant. Pendant quelques jours, j’ai pensé à ce produit et je me suis dit qu’il y avait tellement de produits disponibles sur le marché pourquoi celui-çi? Donc, je n’y donne pas suite. Décembre 2005, lors d’un party de Noël, je rencontre quelqu’un qui connaît le produit et finalement je commence à utiliser le produit en janvier 2006.
Au bout d’une semaine, je me suis aperçu que je ne ressentais presque plus le besoin de m’étendre pour une sieste; quelle ne fut pas ma surprise! Et au fur et à mesure que je prenais le produit, je me sentais de mieux en mieux et mon moral allait de mieux en mieux également et maintenant j’ai des projets pour l’avenir et je suis même devenu distributeur du Immunocal. Quelle différence ce produit a fait dans ma vie! Je vous le recommande fortement! Janvier 2008, je continue d’aider plusieurs personnes pour divers problèmes de santé et
les résultats sont toujours au rendez-vous. Moi personnellement je suis toujours en pleine forme ce qui me permet de commencer, à la demande de mon médecin traitant, des traitements de chimiothérapie locale pour enrayer définitivement les métastases autour de mon foie, au début d’avril 2008. Motivation is temporary and drive is forever!

It’s much better to be driven.  To be driven is to be nearly obsessed.  Scratch that, it IS being obsessed with achieving your goals.  If you are driven, then you are “pulled” to your work… instead of “pushing” yourself to do something you dont want to do.

It’s sort of like me working out currently.  I have to push myself to do that.  I am not pulled to workout at all.  My wife is pulled to excersise.  If she does not work-out, she gets edgy.  If I dont work on my business or goals, I get edgy.  It’s the same thing.  She’s as fit as can be, and me, I need a little help in that area.

But with business and goals, I am pulled in that area… and have a purpose.  If you have a purpose, then you are more likely going to continue to do the things necessary to achieve your goals… and win!  That purpose I’m talking about tends to come in the form of two main areas…

Inspiration (which is like motivation for most) and desperation (which is like, I hate my job and I have got to get out of this).  I learned that from Tony Robbins.  The man is right.  I see it day after day with clients of mine and customers.  I saw it in myself too.  My drive picked up and became an obsession when I just had to get out of my day job years ago.

I mean, that job was killing me on the inside (I was reacting in that manner, it really was not a bad job at all).  I made the job out to be something bad, and my reaction to everything at that job was bad. bad. bad.

In my little world, that job was the enemy.  Making money online from home, the freedom, was my dream and goal.  When I finally became desperate (probably because I was really sabotaging my job myself)… I became even more serious and more obsessed with my goals.  Now, that’s drive.  There’s a purpose there.

Make this business a “drive” for you.  Create a purpose, get inspired and stay committed.  It is certainly how you react that is important.  It’s your choices you make throughout your life.  If you have a habit of generating income online, it becomes addictive.  The more addictive you become to generating results, the more money you will make.

Now, some will say, “I”m fine not being obsessed with things Eric, thank you very much”.  Go right ahead.  Treat this like a side business… like a hobby… like something you do once in a while.  I play golf once in a while and you know what?  I suck at it.
